Peacefully in hospital with family by his side. Beloved husband of Shirley. Loving father of Linda, Steve (Angela) and Rick. Proud grandfather of Sarah, Shane, Owen and Morgan. Dear brother of Keith and the late Kenneth and brother-in-law of Allan Johnson. Predeceased by his mother Alice. Taylor was the former treasurer of the Ottawa Public School Board and Vice President and CFO at C. A. Fitzsimmons and was a member of the Ottawa Hunt Club. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O'Connor) on Thursday, July 31 between 2-4pm. For those wishing, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
