Condolence From: Matt Steeves
Condolence: Very sad to learn of the passing of a dear ski fried, fellow engineer, and all around great guy. Dave was a fixture at Camp Fortune and he will be greatly missed by the entire ski community. My thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues, and the many people whose lives he touched.

Condolence From: Ian Platts
Condolence: My deepest condolences to Jean, Andrea, Lestly, Mary, and Jane. Dave lived life to the fullest with success and determination which I really respected. Growing up at the cottage and later skiing the eastern townships together to pursuing pro skiing and always boating, I understood Dave's pursuits as they were similar to my own. Saddened and shocked, he will be missed. Ian Platts, Vancouver

Condolence From: Gord & Monique Steene
Condolence: From Zimbabwe, Monique and I are totally shocked by this tragic news. Dave was with us when we met skiing at Tremblant. Sometimes life is so unfair. We feel for you all, Andrea, Mrs. Hearnden, Jane, Mary and Leslie. Dave's many friends. Jess. The cottage will not be the same without Dave around, although I'm sure his spirit will remain nearby to the place he loved. Taken too soon! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Really sad we can't join in in the celebration of Dave's life at Camp Fortune. We will celebrate his life at the same time in Cape Town, with the guiding principle that Dave followed on the Ottawa river...there's always room for one more in the boat. He will be missed. Gord & Monique
