thinking back i remember when grandmaman and grandpapa lived on carling ave, we always had a puzzle on the go on the kitchen table and when we where done with that she would bring out the box of smurfs and random assortment of toys to play with. and the pool in the building, always loved a little family swim.
then they moved to Gills and Pats upstairs apartment, which meant that my brothers and I could not only visit with our grand parents and go down stairs and run a muck with our cousins.
as i got older i got a whole lot taller and every time i walked into the apartment she would let out a “oh geez” and give me a big old hug.
