Edgar Joseph Slobodian
Peacefully at the Extendicare Laurier Manor, on October 22nd, 2014 at the age of 78. Loving father of Karen, Christine, Peter and Peggy. Cherished grandfather of Carissa, Parker, Tiffany, Kasey, Kristen, Kyle, Corinna, Erin, David, Cameron and Ashton. Great-grandfather of Ayla, Lillien and Coby. Dear brother of Jim, Gerry and predeceased by his brother John. Former husband and devoted friend to the late Ann McConville. Friends and family are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Airport Parkway) on Monday October 27th from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 12 noon, followed by short reception on site. Edgar, with his deep and quiet soul,has always undertaken to watch over his grandchildren and their passions, and to remain connected with them. In lieu of flowers, donations to ochfoundation.ca would be appreciated.
