It is with profound sadness that the Etmanski family announces the passing on Thursday, 23 Oct, 2014 of Husband, Brother, Father, and Grandfather Isiah John Etmanski (Ike), at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Paul) Etmanski for 56 years. Son of the late Peter and Isabelle Etmanskie (Barry’s Bay Ontario)
Loving father of Joanne (Robert Egan), David (Kandice Blair), and Linda (Darnell Addley). Grandfather of Alex, Elizabeth, Melissa, Kourtney, and Andrew. Special uncle to Jeff Marier.
Loving brother of Peter (Jean), Conrad, Isabelle (Richard Meehan), Mary (Late Donald Golka), Predeceased by his brothers Ambrose (Merita), Leo (Late Irene), Howard, and Anthony. He also leaves behind numerous special nieces, and nephews.
At the request of deceased no visitation will take place. The Funeral Service will be held at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) Ottawa, Ontario on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 3 p.m.
Our family wishes to give a special thank you to the Monfort Hospital especially floor 6 (c) who provided exceptional care and compassion for our father.
