Ellison, Esther Diane (nee Coleman)
January 13, 1935 - December 17, 2014
Peacefully in Ottawa, on Wednesday, December 17th, 2014 at the age of 79 years. Loving wife of the late (2002) Capt. Lawrence Ellison (Ret'd RCAF - Signals) and brother of the late Ken Coleman. Cherished mother of the late Cynthia (Rob Graham), Pamela (Sean Costello) and Lawrence (Joellyn, nee Hotes), dearest Gramma of Janalyn Ellison (Lawrence and Joellyn). Survived by her sister Sheila Snively (Paul) as well as by her niece, Dawn Snively-Walker, both of Hamilton. Special thanks to Kelly and the full CCU / 7NW team at the Ottawa General, the team at the Ottawa Heart Institute and to Dr. Nancy Clevette, Diane's longtime family physician. Family and friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) on Sunday December 21st from 12noon until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
