In hospital on Tuesday, February 24th, 2015 at the age of 95. Predeceased by his beloved wife for over 60 years Embel Wright nee Seabrook. Loving father of David (Susan) and Mary (Greg Birtch). Cherished Grandfather of Kristina and Amanda, Megan and Austin and great Grandfather to Ava Lee.

Bill served as a faithful member of the clergy of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa since 1943, much of that time as an Archdeacon. Over many years, he shepherded parish communities, offering thoughtful leadership and compassionate pastoral care. He was a mentor to generations of younger clergy to whom he provided a listening ear and sound advice. From the far reaches of the Ottawa valley to bustling suburbia, from those who struggled with poverty in the inner-city to families of Rideau Hall, Archdeacon Wright touched countless lives as a priest in God’s church.

Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair McGarry, 315 McLeod St., at O'Connor, Thursday, March 5th 3:30 p.m. to 7:00pm.

Funeral Service will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Anglican Church, 2345 Alta Vista Drive on Friday March 6th 1:00 p.m.

Memorial donations to the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa, 71 Bronson Ave. would be appreciated by the family.
