August 14, 1919 – February 27, 2015
Beloved husband of Clare (Kennedy) for 67 years. Father of Loretta (Allan Cramp), Edna (Delmar McCambley), John (Zelda), Danny (Annie), Marjorie (Peter Després), Douglas (Anita), Harold (Donna) and the late Neil. Cherished grandfather of Mara, Shannon, Lisa, Sheldon, Colin, Yannick, Patrick, Ryan, Steven, Wayne, Courtney, Holly and Jessica, and great-grandfather to 13. Neil was the last surviving member of his immediate family; son of Patrick O’Neill and Margaret McCrank, sisters Mae, Tessie, Kathleen, Ella, Margaret, Mary and brothers Owen, William, Frank, Patrick and Michael. Special thanks to the staff at Manoir de Wakefield and Wakefield Memorial Hospital for ensuring Dad’s request for a “normal death”, and for your dedication to care and compassion. Family and friends are invited to visit at the McGarry Memorial Chapel, 139 Valley Drive, Wakefield, QC on Monday, March 2 from 6-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Martin’s Roman Catholic Church, Martindale, QC on Tuesday at 10:30am. A Reception will follow at McGarry Memorial Chapel, 139 Valley Drive, Wakefield, QC.
