Obituary for
Jason Walker McCallum
Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital 26th of May 2015, from
the compounding affects of old age. Born in Saskatchewan and
raised in London Ontario, he is predeceased by his parents
Clarence and Althera and sister Jacqueline. He leaves his beloved
wife Joan (Bowers) and son Ian and his wife Stephani and
grandchildren Rory, Caitlin, Griffin and Althea. Jason had a curios
mind, and was deeply interested in the human conditions often
taking great comfort in Gods bountiful nature. He helped establish
school psychological services in the mid 1960’s for small school
boards in York County. He later became coordinator of
Psychological Services for the York Region Board of Education
until his retirement in 1988. In his professional career he had many
colleagues and was the 25th President of the Ontario Psychological
Association. A Private Family Service will be held.
