Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Thursday July 2. 2015 in his 84th year. Dearly beloved husband of Yvette (nee Sabourin) and the late Isobel (nee Thomson). Dear father of Peter (Kathy), Richard (Melissa) and Lisa (Daniel Cockburn). Cherished grandfather of Lance Lafleur (Nikki), Nicholas Lafleur and Spencer Cockburn. Fondly remembered by his great-grandson Alex. Dear brother of Lorraine, Aline and Jean-Guy. Claude will be dearly missed by Yvette’s family and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Anita, Dolores, Carmelle, Reina and brothers, Roland and Raymond. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa on Thursday July 9 , 2015 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St-Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 55 Appleford Street, Ottawa on Friday July 10th, 2015 at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family
