Peacefully, after a prolonged illness at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus on Friday, July 3, 2015 at the age of 63. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Bernice (Weir). She will be missed her family, Carol Marion (Conrad), Barb Bonev (Pete), Sharyn Colford (Vern), Steve (Louise), Chris, Bert (Diane), Kevin, John McGee and many friends. Janice was a kind person who loved pets, especially her cats. She was a long-time employee of the Department of National Defense and Natural Resources. She will be missed by her many colleagues. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) Ottawa, on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Epiphany Anglican Church, 1290 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa, on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.
