Obituary for Anna Stypulkowski (Gandolfo)

Anna has departed peacefully at home, to join the great loves of her life - her husband Wladyslaw and her father, Gustavo, as well as her mother (Carla), grand-mother (nonna Maua), her cousin (Vincenzo), two aunts and uncles, and innumerable pre-deceased friends. She leaves in mourning her daughter Evelina, her son-in-law Philip, her much loved in-law Yung family, and Lombardi and Gatti cousins in Italy. She regrettably leaves behind her dear Polish friends and bridge friends. She lived a very full, interesting, at times difficult, life during Fascism in Italy, under Communism in Poland and, finally, experienced Democracy in Canada. A sincerest thank you to Dr. Mark Nassim for the care provided to the end, to Anna's beloved "lady-in-waiting" Teresa and support provider Carole. Finally, kudos to the CCAC, Carefor and Bayshore for the fantastic nursing and PSW assistance. Friends are invited to visit the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm & 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Mass to be held at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, 1060 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Wednesday at 11:00. Please consider donations to the Ottawa Humane Society or the Ottawa Mission in Anna's memory.
