Obituary for Jordan Dayne Wouters

Jordan Dayne Wouters
Jordan Daynes Wouters
July 9, 1984 - January 27, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jordan, our son, our brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour, great kindness and empathy, love of music, sports, movies and travel and most of all for his fierce loyalty and love of family, friends and pets. Jordan had an intuitive and direct sense of morality about the injustices in the world, feeling the pain of others and the unfairness of their circumstances always questioning why it had to be that way. As a member of his close or extended family, or as a friend, each of us who knew him had a story to tell, which usually ended in laughter.

Jordan will be missed by his mother Valerie (Micha Menczer), father Wayne, brother Jason (Samantha), sister Kara and nephew Olivier, who dearly loved “Uncle Jorge”. In addition there are many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends for whom Jordan’s passing will leave a large hole in their hearts. Jordan will be remembered by all for his big laugh, bear hugs, essential sweetness and countless facebook postings.

Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Tuesday February 2, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at Dominion-Chalmers United Church (O’Connor & Cooper St.) on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Jordan to the United Way Ottawa (www.unitedwayottawa.ca) or the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health (www.theroyal.ca) would be appreciated
