Condolence: The Obedience world has lost a very special person. It is hard to believe that he has left us so soon.. Seems like only yesterday we first met him at Bytown with his Goldens,putting them through their paces. He truly loved this sport and it showed. God speed Bruce... Condolence: My condolences to the Gibbons family. I went to school with Bruce. I was the kid next door on Phesant St in Winnipeg. I was just in the process of looking him up on FB, when I found his obituary. Bruce and I were the best of friends back then, and sad to say we lost contact. Please once again accept my condolences, and know my thoughts are with all the family

Warren and I knew him from the Obedience world, and will surely miss our many chats at the Trials we both attended over the past 15 or so years. He was very supportive of new competitors, a true sportsman whether he was winning or losing, and dedicated to furthering the sport of Obedience, by competing, teaching, judging and by willingly accepting board positions in the clubs. Condolence: My condolences to all. Many years ago I took classes with him and although I did not have a Golden he was a very insightful and supportive instructor. I saw him judge numerous dog obedience trials and he was encouraging to many new comers to the sport. When he went into the ring with Rebel, Austin, or Bright all stopped to watch an impressive team in action. He will be greatly missed by so many.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers to Brian's family. His time dog training has been cut way to short on earth but how happy he will be to be reunited with his golden loved ones and how excited they will be to see him! So sad and sorry to see yet another legend leave us from the Ottawa obedience world! Carry on!!

Condolence: Everyone is shocked with the tragic news of Bruce's passing. I cannot imagine the grief Lillian and family must endure.....my deepest sympathy. Bruce and Rebel were very impressive and motivating for me in the 'old' days......and Bruce continued to motivate to the end through his judging, competing and helpful ways. Rest in peace....

Condolence: My heartfelt sympathies to Lillian and Bruce's family. From the first time I stepped into the obedience ring almost 20 years ago, Bruce was always kind and supportive. Watching him perform was such an inspiration. To the newcomer, he was patient and encouraging. You will be missed.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened by this news. Bruce and I have been in the ring together for decades. He has always been so gracious, win or lose. It will not be the same without Bruce and his dogs at our local trials. I am so glad he got to Crufts, it was an experience he never forgot. We have lost a true gentleman and a sportsman. Condolence: My deepest Condolances to all the family. I met Bruce through the Obedience World and thoroughly enjoyed being entered in a trial where he was Judging. He was a Gentleman in the truest form and was always quick with a smile and compliment. I also took great pleasure in watching him compete with his beloved Goldens. True Admiration and Love was quite evident between him and his furbabies. Heaven has gained a true Angel!

Condolence: So very sorry for the loss to the Gibbons family. Bruce became a very welcoming judge that I had the pleasure to enter under. As a co-judge it was always nice when we were on the same panel. So very sad. My thoughts are extended to Lil and your family.

Condolence: I have many memories of Bruce from training together with the Bytown Club to watching his fabulous performances in the ring and just last summer having him as a judge in Bowmanville. He will be missed, as a competitor, a judge and a friend.
