Passed away peacefully on Friday April 29, 2016 at the age of 93. Loved and cherished mother of Gregg Samojlenko, Ugor Samojlenko and Yuri Gorbachow. She is survived by six grandchildren, Philip, David, Christopher, Tara, Stephen (passed away in 1985), Jennifer, Iris and eight great-grandchildren, Ella, Colin, Lauren, Gavin, Connor, Delaney, Campbell and Quinn. The family wishes to acknowledge the nurses, physicians and staff at Extendicare Medex, especially Sherry and Michael who cared for her for the past two years. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave. (at Richmond), Ottawa on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 9:30a.m - 10:30a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church, 721 Somerset Street, West, Ottawa on Thursday, May 5, at 11:00a.m. Interment in the Pinecrest Cemetery.
