Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Kemptville District Hospital on Thursday, April 28, 2016, aged 85. Beloved father of Karen Addison (Ray), Dave Robertson (Kathy) and Paul Robertson (Cheryl). Cherished Grandpa of Braden (Patricia) and Krista Bernard, and Michael Robertson. Great-grandpa of Gavin Bernard. Will be sadly missed by his brothers, Ross Robertson (Marilyn), Bill Robertson and his sister, Lorraine Templeton (Gerry). Predeceased by his brother Jack Robertson (Joyce). Dougie is fondly remembered by his “adopted” family, Ross Dillabough (Elaine), Spring (Doug), Amanda (John) and Ashley (Scott); by nieces, nephews and many friends. Family and friends are invited to visit the Brown Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville, on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm & 7 to 9 pm. A Celebration of Dougie’s Life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 2 pm. Donations may be made to the Kemptville District Hospital Foundation.
