Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Hillel Lodge, at the age of 98, following a recent stroke. Beloved mother of John (Anne Mullins) and Kathryn Palmer. Devoted Grandmother of Ami, Chana (Jerel Davis) and Ezra (Katharina). Proud, ecstatic Great grandmother of Kieran, Sylvie and Bronwen Davis, and Amelia Palmer. Cherished Aunt. Predeceased by her parents Simon and Eva Garber, and by her brothers Frank and Gus Garber. Funeral Service will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue, on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 3 p.m. Interment at the Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2692 Bank Street. Shiva at 83 David Drive on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Friday from 2-4 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at Hillel Lodge.
