Condolences

Condolence From: Bill Tetley
Condolence: Dear Lauchie, Dorothy, Moragh and Mariellen,
I was very saddened to recently hear of the passing of both Jamie and Andrew. Please accept my deepest condolences. Jamie was a great childhood friend and next door neighbor who I will always remember for his low-key manner and gentle disposition. He taught me a thing or two. With love, Bill

Condolence: Jamie and I were childhood friends in the Town of Mount Royal. I lived 3 doors down on Cornwall, and we we close buddies in grades 1 - 3. We lost touch when my family moved to Toronto, but I recently connected with a fellow schoolmate and next door neighbour to the Chisholms, and this prompted me to search, and learn of his passing. He was way too young, and I am saddened to learn of his death. I remember him as a kind, generous and considerate guy, with a great imagination. He was also a way better athlete than me, and benefitted greatly from the encouragement of his father and older brother, Andrew. My sincere condolences to his family.

Condolence: I am proud to have had the privilege of bathing in the light of friendship from such a man as a James Chisholm.

To have fed off the intellect; one powered by a wonderful mixture of an artistic bent shaped by the Bohemian nature of 1970's Montréal, as well as an abundant dose of cynicism informed by Quebec politics. All this, expressed in a quick, dry, biting wit; a unique brand of sarcastic humour. Such was it a joy to provoke comment from James on any number of subjects.

Gentle natured, kind spirited, and meticulously neat.

NEVER a morning person. You know what I'm talkin' about.

The time so short. The loss is deep.
The die is cast; the legacy proud.
The tender progeny, may he be led to appreciate that his father was loved. So shall it always be...

Condolence: I was saddened to hear of James passing. He was a true gentleman and it was my honour to have worked with him. He will be remembered.

"When we lose someone we love it seems that time stands still.
What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness,
A longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch,
We may not understand why you left this earth so soon,
or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye,
but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died,
but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
We will see you again some day, in a heavenly place
where there is no parting.
A place where there are no words that mean good-bye."

My condolences,
Melonie Price
