Obituary for Milton Earle Arnold

Peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 after an eight month journey with glioblastoma. Loving father of Sean and Jordan. Cherished brother of Donna, Lindsay (Lucille) and Chris (Denise). Much loved uncle of Daniel, Tristan and Liam. Predeceased by his parents Milton and Eileen and his first wife Dilys. Milt will be fondly remembered by his second wife Maureen and the Kennedy and Clarkson clans. The family sincerely thanks Linda, Rick, Jennifer and those others close to Milton who took often exceptional time from their lives to support and care for Milton over these past challenging months. We also extend special thanks to those we encountered during Milton’s final few days at Hospice at May Court. Born in 1952 in Montreal, Milton came to Ottawa with his family in 1966 and built a career in the Arts via the National Arts Centre and proudly poured heart and soul into that institution and its aims. He treasured the personal and professional relationships that arose from his work and those that knew him recognized and admired his indefatigable passion. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Saturday, August 27 from 3-6pm with words of remembrance at 5pm.
