Born in England June 26th, 1937, peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 19th, 2016. Beloved wife to Robert Larose for 59 years. Survived by brother Roger Gates (Jean) and sister Georgina Pemberton (the late Jesse). Deeply missed by Jinkal and Gauvreau Patel of India, who adopted Philippa as their second Maa. Dear aunt to niece Brenda Simcoe (Dave), and nephew Robert (Bob) Potter (Penny). Will be missed by cousins Denise Sargent (Malcolm), Larraine O’Neil (Terry) and Joyce Vandensteen (Keith); and fond friends Bill and Betty Griffin, Marion and Dick Blair and Elaine and Bill Richardson. For all the relatives and friends not mentioned, you were never forgotten. At Philippa’s request there will be no visitation or service. Memorial donations to the Ottawa Humane Society in memory of Philippa would be appreciated.
