Dear Ann and family: all of us at Global Affairs are deeply saddened and shocked by the sudden passing of Georges. While I never had the pleasure to work directly with Georges, his kind and gentle spirit, and our chats in the hallways was always a daily uplift in our hectic routine. Georges will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by many. Again, deepest condolences, with the hope that the spirit of remembrance and the camaraderie of family and friends will help in this most difficult of times.
