Peacefully, in hospital with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Patricia (Brulé) and cherished father of Colleen (Luc Lavictoire). He was also dearest Grumpa to his sweetie, four legged Emma. Son of the late Napoléon Lapointe and Hélène Dion (née Aubin), step-son of the late Émile (Blackie) Dion. He leaves to mourn his sister-in-law Carole (late Victor DeChamplain) and his niece and nephews. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) Ottawa on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word in the Chapel at 11 a.m. followed by a private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Ottawa Humane Society or the Liver Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
