Melba Francis was born February 27th, 1930 Passed away May 24th, 2017 at the age of 87 years at her Roebuck home, after a lengthy illness. Wife of Lawrence Edward Francis for 63 years. Daughter of the late Thomas and Marion Kelso. Eldest sister of Erwin and John (Shan) Kelso and Keitha Polite. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Carl Polite and sister-in-law Marjorie Kelso and by daughters Ann and Donna. Survived by her much loved grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit the Spencerville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 11 Centre Street, Spencerville, on Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, May 29 at 2 pm. Interment at South Gower Cemetery, followed by reception at the Roebuck Community Hall. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Roebuck United Church.
