Obituary for Betty Anna Beech (Rowe)

Betty Anna Beech (Rowe)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful, sweet mother, Betty Beech (nee Rowe) formerly of Port Hope, ON. On January 3, 2019 at 2:00 am, embraced in loving arms, she was reunited with her soulmate our wonderful daddy, Raymond who passed on July 29, 2018.

Betty was the loving wife of the late Raymond Beech and Mother to Dawn Marie Beech (Ottawa) and Dale Beech (Lynne Beech) of Barrie. She was the adoring Grandmother of Maria & Anthony Sandhar-Cruz and Kaitlyn, Andrew, Emily & Sara Beech. Betty loved her fur grand babies as well, most especially old Kase girl.
Betty will be missed by her many family members and friends but most by her lifelong friend & cousin Jean Morton (Port Hope) and best friend Barbara McCarrol-McLellan (Ottawa).

Betty was a gentle soul with a kind heart and lived a simple, honest life. She spent time volunteering at the Children’s Aid in Brockville and worked as an office clerk and accountant for Humpty Dumpty in Ottawa for many years. In her retirement she enjoyed working at Growing Kids helping to dress many youngsters for fancy affairs. She was passionate about this job.
She always had an open-door policy when it came to friends of hers and her children. There could not be a kinder more decent human and we are so lucky to call her MOM.
God bless our beautiful mother and loving parents on their day of reuniting!

There will be a reception (luncheon) held upstairs following the brief service.
Flowers are accepted by 4pm Wednesday 9th. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be Betty’s wishes.
