In loving memory of Gaston Giroux, 72 years old, who passed away peacefully on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice, Kanata. A very special thank you to Dr. Paul Hacker and his outstanding staff for their compassionate care. Born in Sudbury, Ontario on April 22, 1945. Educated at College Sacré Coeur. Worked at Inco as a contract administrator, retiring after 41 years of service. His passions were biking, travelling, cooking, reading, playing guitar for family and friends, and spending his winters in Florida. Predeceased by father Jeremy Giroux, mother Rita Rochon Giroux Wills, and stepdad Bill Wills. Survived by his sisters Pauline St. Pierre (Ron), Carole Benkovich (Nick), brothers Aldege Giroux (Susan), Richard Wills (Diane), Denis Wills (Nicole). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Donations to the Canadian Red Cross or Heart & Stroke Foundation, both of Sudbury, would be appreciated.
