Barry Joseph Hennessy
June 29, 1950 - December 15, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barry Hennessy, on Saturday, December 15, 2018, in Ottawa, Ontario, at the age of 68. Barry was the loving and devoted father of Michael and Kevin, and had been the beloved husband of Barbara Hennessy. In recent years, Barry found much happiness again with Krystyna Dmochowski, and he was growing particularly fond of her family. Barry was the much loved brother of Arleen (Tom Blondin), Terry (Debbie Long) and the late Tom. He was the cherished son of Ella and Barry Hennessy, Senior. A humble and friendly man, Barry will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as his many lifelong friends. A memorial service will be held at Parkdale United Church, 429 Parkdale Avenue, on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow immediately afterwards. The interment of ashes will be held at a later date at Notre-Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Ottawa Hospital or the Shepherds of Good Hope would be greatly appreciated.
