At home peacefully on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Chow). Beloved father of eight children Shirl (husband Pat), Howard (wife My-Linh), David, Edward, Mabe, Helen, Rich (wife Sally), Don (partner John). Beloved grandfather to Alyssa, Emma, Addyson, Ethan and Maddyson. Dear brother to Po Chun Yee (and the late Chew Bing Yee). Beloved Uncle to Arthur, Ken, Tim (wife Lucy and family), and Suzette (husband Thomas Ho, and family), Peter Chow (wife Van and family), Jen Chow (husband Tony, son Mathieu), Anna Chow, William Chow (wife Marie Isabelle and family), and the late Sam Chow. Son to the late Jimmy Kwan and Tom Sui Mie Kwan. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair, McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O'Connor) Ottawa from Sunday, February 3 from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.; and Monday, February 4 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., Chapel Service at 1 p.m., then interment at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa. Family and friends are also invited to celebrate afterwards at the Shanghai Restaurant, 651 Somerset St. W., Ottawa from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Flowers are welcome.
