Obituary for Frances Elizabeth Norkett (Henry)

Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019 at the Civic Hospital in her 88th year after a short illness surrounded by the love of her family. Fran was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her Beloved husband of 62 years, Arthur Douglas, her daughter, Gail Kathryn Henry, son Stephen (Susan), granddaughter Apryl, her grandson Chris Dupuis (Jen), and great grand-daughters Abigail and Molly. Beloved Aunt to Glen Young, Nancy Young, Greg (Celine) Norkett and Glenn (Penny) Norkett. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Elsie Henry and sister Marge (Doug). Fran was an active life long member and supporter of Rideau Park United Church. She was a keen curler (RA club) and birder and was a talented artist. She lived a life of caring and service to others and will be missed by her many dear friends. Friends are invited to visit at Rideau Park United Church, 2203 Alta Vista Drive, on Thursday, April 11th from 12pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 1pm. A reception will be held after the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
