Obituary for Bernard Emile Poirier
Peacefully at the Montfort Hospital on Friday, April 19, 2019 at the age of 89. Dearly beloved husband of the late Carmen Poirier (née Turgeon).
Loving father of Louise Scherer (Robert), Andrée Thériault (Réginald) and Eric Poirier.
Devoted grandfather of Élyse Miles (Matthew), Philippe Scherer (Mallory Forget), François Thériault (Valérie Taillefer), Caroline Thériault (Tommy Desfossés), Michael, Daniel, Timothy, Andrew and Alexandre Poirier.
Fondly remembered by his great-grandchildren, Landon and Ryan Miles and Théodore and Colin Thériault. Dear brother-in-law of Denise and Kenneth McDonald.
The Funeral Mass will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, 435 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. The family will receive condolences at the church from 10 a.m. Interment Notre-Dame Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
