Obituary for Felix Schwarz
December 28, 1930 – March 29, 2019
Felix Schwarz passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2019 with family by his side. Beloved husband for 66 years to Maria (nee Thoeni). Dear brother to the late Matthias (Carol), Johann, Franz, Martin and Hermann. Predeceased by his daughter, Monika (Ken) and son-in-law, Michael. Loving father of Sonja, Elisabeth and Hermann (Julie). Felix,
Opa, will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Felix was the proud owner of Schwarz Painting and Decorating for over 40 years and was very involved in the Ontario College & Trades Painting Apprenticeship Program. Felix was also one of the original founding members of St. Albertus Pfarrgemeinde, a community that he held close to his heart. Our memories of Felix live on in the European style cottage, his little oasis that he designed and built
by hand at Hardwood Lake, Val-des-Mont.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) Ottawa, on Wednesday, April 10th from 2pm – 5pm. Funeral Mass to be Celeberated at St. Albertus Pfarrgemeinde Catholic Church, 416 Parkdale Avenue, Ottawa, on Thursday, April 11 th at 11am. In memoriam donations to St. Albertus Pfarrgemeinde Church or the Ottawa Heart Institute greatly appreciated.
