Peacefully in her 89th year on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Daughter of the late Louis and Annie Smith. Dear sister of Hymie and David and sister in law of Darlene, Isabel and Linda. Predeceased by her siblings Morris, Cecil, Fanny, Sol, Sam, Scotty, Nathan, Molly Narwa, Lily Bosloy, and Jack. Adored Auntie Freda to her many nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered as a special lady who brought much joy and charisma to her family; and by all those whose lives she touched. Heartfelt appreciation to Freda's devoted friend Roxanne Bourassa for her many years of loving care. A Graveside Service will be held at Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2692 Bank Street, Machzikei Hadas Section, on Monday, December 15th at 11am.
