Obituary for Mabel "Bubs" Walker
November 16, 1925 - January 8, 2019

Peacefully, in hospital, in her 94th year, on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019, surrounded by family and their love. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Walker. Bubs will be dearly missed by her children Pamela Mallon (Brian) and Edward Walker (Debbie); her grandchildren James Mallon (Kendra) and Andrea Walker-Murphy (Dale) and her greatgrandchildren Jack and Avery Mallon and Declan Murphy. Dear sister to Peggy Kirby (Alan) and David Doherty (Judy) and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Bubs is predeceased by her brother William Doherty (Catherine) and sister Alice McDonald. Friends and family may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor), Ottawa on Friday, January 18th from 4-6pm and Saturday, January 19th after 10am until service in memory of Bubs in the Chapel at 11am. The family wish to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff at St. Josephʼs Healthcare Hamilton. Specifically the Cardiac team and Palliative Care team for their kindness and compassion during Bubsʼ time there. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of choice appreciated.
