Obituary for Madeleine Theresa Watson
Peacefully in hospital on Thursday, January 31, 2019, surrounded by family in her 86th year. Daughter of the late Edward Watson and Mary Jane O'Meara. Beloved sister of Edward (Christine), Edgar (Wendy), Bill (Marion), and Maureen (late Ken O'Reilly). Predeceased by sister Helen (Tony Miller), brothers Mark, Paul, Jim (Jean), Bernard and Michael.
Beloved aunt to Stephanie, Sharon, Tony, David, Ann, Sandra, Linda, Michelle, Debbie, Steve, Sean, Peter, Gregg, Christine, Derek, Joanne, Bob, Jim, Bryan, Darren, Paul, Kevin, Dean and Tim.
Predeceased by nieces Allyson and Kimberly. We will miss her huge heart and perfectly kind soul. She will be remembered lovingly as a woman who saw the best in everyone and gave generously to friends, family and the community.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Saint Patrick's Basilica, 220 Kent Street (at Nepean Street), Ottawa, on February 21, 2019 from 9 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 10 a.m., followed by a reception. Burial will be held at Notre-Dame Cemetery.
