Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa on Friday, May 19, 2017, aged 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter Smith. Loving mother of Jocelyn Robertson (Cal), David Smith (Theresa), Valerie Thompson (Ken) and Kika Smith (the late Adrian Knops). Cherished Grandma of 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by her brother, Robert Beckett. Predeceased by her brother, Roger Beckett and her two sisters, Marilyn Severence and Joyce Harper. Will be greatly missed by her honorary daughter Lori-Jean Stewart. Friends and family are invited to visit the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 11 am until the Service in the Chapel at 1 pm.
