Valeria Ann Ethier (Service)

We are saddened to announce the passing of Valeria on September 17, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved daughter of the late Margaret and Jack Service. She is survived by her best friend, soul mate and husband Steve, dearly loved and proud mother of son Dwayne (Erin) and daughter Dawn, cherished and loving grandmother to Nicole, Tucker, Parker, Rebecca, Katrina, and Lucas. Dear sister to Marylynn Peters (Bob), Robert Service (Kathy), Jane Mowbray (Cochrane) and Mike Service (Pat). She will be greatly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Valeria had a career in police communications with the Fredericton, Nepean and retiring with the Ottawa Police Services. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday October 1st at the Ottawa Police Association at 1 pm.
