On Friday, November 10th. Born in Winnipeg, attended Riverbend School for Girls, the University of Manitoba, Queen’s University, Carleton University and the Ottawa Teachers’ College. Head, Junior School of Elmwood, Ottawa 1972-1988. Married in 1950 to David Godwin Chance. Children are Christopher, Jennifer (Robert Laity), and Judith (Paul Mason) and four grandsons. Nancy loved life: teaching, travel, painting and cycling, her friends and her loving family. Cremation to be followed by memorial service at 1100 hrs. on Saturday, November 18th at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church, 125 MacKay Street, Ottawa. Flowers declined with thanks. Memorial donations to the May Court Hospice, 114 Cameron Avenue, Ottawa would be appreciated. Interment plot 129, St. Michael’s and All Angels, Petite Rivière, N.S.
