Condolences

Condolence From: Brad Hampson
Condolence: Gord was one of the "greatest generation", who believed so strongly in giving back to others, that he ended up changing the lives of thousands of youngsters for the better through his coaching. My own recollections meeting him first as a schoolboy at Ashbury and chatting about boxing or hockey, and then as a cadet with the GGFG and into the Regiment, made a significant impact on my life. He taught me the value of helping and serving others. He always had a joke to make one laugh, and later in life it might have been one he told before but always with a smile joking. He was simply one of the finest gentlemen I have ever met, and certainly he is going to be one important guy in God's army of angels. I am proud to pipe his interment today in an army uniform as he rides the sunbeams to paradise. You were simply the best Gord. God love you and I will see you again... but not today my friend.
