Condolence: Mary and I, and a three others roomed at Mrs Cochrane’s Boarding House on University beside Freddies in 1953-4. We all loved her ! After graduation in Montreal I took her to our ski house on the Laurentians for a week-end of skiing that she thoroughly enjoyed from her internship. I moved back to Ottawa and never saw her since. I wish that I had known that she was here.God bless you Mary ! Love: John Maguire

Condolence From: Jason Pearman
Condolence: George and family, Mary was certainly one of a kind. The consummate professional, scholar, recipe-provider, deli-suggestor, and humanitarian - an incredible pleasure to be around. What I'll remember most is her razor sharp wit, and her capacity for thoughtfulness. Around Mary, you had to be both on your toes, and ready to accept help for something you mentioned months ago. Her presence will be missed around the halls of MDB. You have my deepest sympathies. Jason

Condolence: I am deeply saddened to learn of Mary's death, George. Please know that I am thinking of you and the family at this difficult time. Mary was a gem. I have known her since 1970 and have lovely memories of wonderful times spent in your homes in Montreal, in Toronto and in Ottawa at dinners and parties, or just visiting. She was highly intelligent, kind, generous, accomplished, beautiful and a loyal friend. I send you all my warmest regards.
