Obituary for David (Abraham) Shore

David (Abraham) Shore
(November 25, 1924 - October 9, 2020)

Our dearest Zaidey. He is our patriarch. A true mensch. Our rock of gibraltar. He passed away peacefully, at home with family early Friday morning, October 9th, at the time that he always rose to greet each day. The one true love of Debi Shore who has said that there will never be a farewell to their forever love. The father who loved and embraced his children: Eliot Shore (Donna z"l), Mark Shore (Shani), and Suzi Shore Sauvé (Danny). He was beloved by all those who came into our family, embracing each with his generous love. And as the grandfather (Zaidey) for whom his grandchildren were the absolute apples of his eye: Rachael Dunnigan (Kyle) and Dylan Shore (Iris), Chelsea Sauvé, Corey Sauvé and Matthew Culnan, Zachary Shore and Jordan Shore. And as Big Zaidey to his great-grandchildren Olivia and Weston Dunnigan - for him the role was the truest of pleasures. Adored also by his fur grandchildren. Also beloved uncle, known as "uncle", to his nieces and nephews - his weekly coffee date with Chuck were especially treasured. Son of the late Charles and Anna Shore, brother of the late Faye Fogel and Evelyn Rotenberg and twin Mendel Shore - with all of whom he is reunited - and brother-in-law of Riva Heft Hecht and Anita Shore. He will be missed every moment of the day, but his legacy of love lives on.
