Our much beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away at The Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus on January 27, 2022, in his 94th year, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Pieve di Soligo, Treviso, Italy on March 17th to Girolamo Padoin and Lucia D’Altoe’. Predeceased by his wife Caterina and daughter Norma Padoin. He will be dearly missed by his daughter Liliana Khalil (Fadi). Grandchildren Francesco Padoin, Fiorella Padoin-Castillo (Martin Castillo), Sofia McGregor (Matthew), Laura Young (Daniel), Christopher Khalil (Vanessa) and great-grandchildren Adriano, Matteo, Oliver and Arlo. He will also be missed dearly by his brothers and sisters and other family and friends both here and abroad. Visitation will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Monday, January 31st from 4:30-8:30 pm. Due to COVID protocols, to attend the visitation you must register via the RSVP on the funeral home website or by contacting the funeral home directly. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, 194 Fourth Avenue, Ottawa.
