Obituary for Anna-Lee Chiprout (Tradburks)

It’s with a tremendous amount of sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Anna-Lee Chiprout.

The most generous and loving soul that made each person that she came in contact with her feel special and always greeted them with her warm smile and generous spirit. She dedicated her entire life to uplifting others and a multitude of causes close to her heart. Anyone who was lucky enough to be touched by Anna-Lee’s presence was deeply impacted.

She will be deeply missed by her children Sheri and Amanda (Richard). She was the best Savta to her favourite grandkids Asher and Maeve that lit up her world. Anna-Lee will also be missed by her brother Jeffery Tradburks. Fondly remembered by Danny Chiprout (Charlene), Majed El Shafie and her nieces, nephews and cousins. An entire community of friends will feel the loss tremendously as well.

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, at 1pm at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue, Ottawa. Interment to follow at Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2692 Bank Street, Ottawa.

Shiva will be observed at the home of Paul Bregman, 1874 Ferncroft Crescent, Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm, Thursday from 12pm to 2:30pm and from 4pm to 7pm, Friday from 12pm to 2:30pm, Sunday and Monday from 12pm to 2:30pm and 4pm to 7pm with services at 4:30pm each day.

Donations in Anna-Lee’s memory to JNF Israel Resilience Fund, Emunah Women or One Free World International would be greatly appreciated by her family.
