It is with great sadness that the family of Arnon Miller announces his passing on Wednesday, August 5 at the age of 90 after a lengthy illness. Born in Nesher, Israel under British mandatory rule, Arnon was a veteran of the Israeli war of independence, and a graduate of the Israeli Institute of Technology, the Technion. After immigrating to Canada in the mid-1950s, Arnon started his own successful business in 1964 which he ran until his retirement in 1992.
An avid skier until well into his 80s, Arnon was also a lover of travel and boating.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth, his children Orry and Rami, and his five grandchildren, Almog, Opal, Idan, Guy and Netta.
His memory is a blessing to all who knew him.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a small funeral will be held at the graveside, at the Jewish Memorial Gardens, on Bank street, and the shiva will be private.
