It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry John James Charles who passed peacefully in the presence of his family at the age of 67 years on Monday September 5, 2022. Dearly loved husband and best friend to Beverly Charles, married 41 years. 

Proud father of Matthew (Jennifer), Jordan (Leslie) and Dan Stewart who was like a son to Barry. Grandfather of Connor, Abby, Braelyn and Hartley. Son of the late George and Shirley Charles. Brother of Linda Tough and Brian (Heather) Charles. Brother-in-law to Brenda (Mark) Bentham, Alison Smith (Francois) and Bruce Smith. Dear uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to visit at the Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church, 225 McClellan Road, Ottawa, on Tuesday September 13, 2022 from 9-11am. Celebration of Life will begin at 11am.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Hospital General Campus Oncology Unit or the New Horizon Fund at the Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church would be appreciated.
