Obituary for Carol Annetta Juliette Button (Jackson)
December 2, 1946 – February 8, 2021
With deepest regret, we announce the passing of Carol on February 8, 2021 in hospice care after her brief battle with cancer in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Rene Button for 47 wonderful years. Loving mother to Scott and mother-in-law to Renia. Cherished daughter of the late William and Annetta Jackson and sister to Helen, David (Cora), Marlyn (Gordon), and Carm (Rick). Extended sister to Janet (Jimmy), Billy, Jimmy (Lina), Betty (Clem), Victor, Joan, Benny (Diane), Judy (John), and June (Edgar). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Limited visitation, according to provincial guidelines, will be available at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O'Connor) on Tuesday, February 16th, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on Wednesday, February 17th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2pm.
Pursuant to current maximum attendance COVID regulations, please RSVP below. Attendees are required to wear face masks, and asked to respect and practice social distancing.
As expressions of sympathies, donations to Hospice Care Ottawa would be appreciated.
