Obituary for Donald Ernest Mackay

With great sadness, the family of Donald (Don) E. Mackay announces his passing at the Montfort Hospital on February 13, 2020. Don was born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia. Formally known as “Red”, Don is survived by his loving wife Helen Mackay, resident of the Windsor Park Manor, Ottawa; stepchildren Joanne and Eric; and was predeceased by daughter, Elaine and sister, Joan. Don will be fondly remembered as a quiet, caring man by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place with a private family service to be held at a later date. Donations to the M.S. Society greatly appreciated by the family.
