1928 - 2020

Peacefully at the Ottawa Grace Manor on June 30, 2020, at the age of 92. Widow of the late John Douglas McCartney. Loving mother of Carol (Tom McElhone), Bruce (Linda Mikula) and David (Chantal Hospodar). Beloved grandmother of Ryan. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Gordon (Shirley) and Norman. Predeceased by brother Harold and daughter-in-law Sandra McCartney.

Eileen was an enthusiastic member of the Carleton Heights Curling Club and Elmdale Lawn Bowling Club. She was also a long-time member of Knox Presbyterian Church.

Due to the current public health restrictions, a private service will be held at Beechwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
