Condolence From: Margie Howsam
Condolence: Dear Joe, Peggy and families,
I was sorry to read of Buff's death in The Citizen this morning but was glad to read she had died peacefully.
I liked her very much, she was always cheerful and personable and had anecdotes to share. We got to know each other as members of The May Court Club and I played bridge with her on several occasions - always lots of fun! I know she had been Treasurer of the Club, in the eighties I think, when there were difficult times and I enjoyed hearing about the challenges she and the Board faced in those days.
She and Al were friends of my parents, Doris and Dave Roger, and socialized together over the years. She told me stories of the "Doctors Wives" and the shenanigans they got up to that I hadn't even heard from my own mother.
She was a charming woman and I know you will have many happy memories of times together. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

Condolence From: David and Charlotte Simpson
Condolence: It was both sad and a shock to learn of Buffs passing.
The last time we saw her at the Club she was so vibrant and almost seemed immortal.
Charlotte remembers fondly organizing the House and Garden Tours at the Lake and the fun they had organizing and ending with a great tea and desert party with Lil Rose.
David remembers her words of encouragement and quoting Al when he was diagnosed with bladder cancer several years ago and she was right.
She was a truly wonderful and uplifting spirit to all.
We wish you all well as we move through this new era of Health!

David and Charlotte Simpson
