Eva Kovacs, MD, wife of the late Bela Kovacs, the love of her life for 69 years, and
daughter of Andor Juhász and Margit Rudas died peacefully at home at the age of 96.

Detshy, and by nephew Dr. Joseph Kovacs, and their families. Born in Hungary, Eva
lived a full, adventure-filled life first in Hungary, then in Switzerland, England and finally,
Canada. Her love of medicine, travel (visited over 100 countries), classical music,
literature, poetry, the arts, bridge, golf (Rivermead 43 years) defined much of her life. As

mentored many young graduate students. In the last stage of her career, she worked as
a Medical Officer with the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Funeral and Memorial

where her remains will be placed with Bela’s in the family crypt. Our gratitude goes out
to her long-time wonderful caregiver Rab Rizvi and the staff at Comfort Keepers, all the
