Peacefully at The Redwoods Retirement Home, Ottawa Ontario on Friday January 2nd, 2015 in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband Bill (2006). Loving mother of Gary Collins (Carol), Dianne Tupper (Earl), Beth Caldwell (Gregor)Tom Collins (Jackie), Dolwyn Root (Bob). Adored “Nanny” of 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Dear friend of Brian Button. Missed by her brother Roy, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 150 Woodroffe Ave.,Ottawa (at Richmond Rd.) on Monday January 5th, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with service to follow in the chapel at 1:00 o’clock. Cremation will occur with inurnment May 9, 2015, 2:00 p.m. Johnston’s Corners Cemetery, Ottawa, followed by a reception and celebration of her life 4:30 p.m. Britannia United Church, Ottawa.
