Condolences

Condolence From: Don and Darlene Bennett
Condolence: Dear Bob and Ron and close friends;

We were shocked and saddened to learn that Fred had passed away. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.

I had spoken to Fred in late May and knew he had a health problem but it seemed to be under control.

Fred and I met in 1952 the year we started grade 9 at Lisgar Collegiate and along with a group of other fellows we became high school pals. We joined RCAF Reserve together. We became members of the Bytown Club which was an investment club for many years and then later a luncheon club. At one time we did a little sailing together on the Ottawa River.

The lunch club was due to meet on May 27th but of course could not.

Fred was always good company. His bass voice was renowned. In past days we always looked for him in performances of Opera Lyra.

We will miss him.

Darlene and Don Bennett
